She's Everything

By Taylor Family

Julie says I don't do this enough.  That when we first met I was romantic and wrote her love letters all the time.  Well she's right, she doesn't get this enough.

Everyday I wake next to her is a special day.  She has more love in her then most get the chance to see.  She is a great mother to our 3 beautiful children and a perfect wife to a very difficult man.  Most that have spent time with her know that she is perfect, and that although she can be self conscious, she has no reason to be.  She is beautiful, strong, and my wife.  She is special in her own way and it goes along way.

Thank You Julie for coming into my life.

Great Moab Pics!!

By Taylor Family

Just more great Moab Pics.  The CARGO VAN taking Potato Salad really goes to show that nothing is impossible.  Boy that was a surprise, ask PIG!!

DIRTY!!!

By Taylor Family

For those of you who don't know Scott very well let me clue you in on something. The kid doesn't like getting dirty.  Example:  WE WENT HIKING IN THE ARCHES AND WHEN WE GET BACK TO THE CAR WE LOAD JACKSON AND TURN AROUND AND THERE IS SCOTT TAKING WET WIPES TO HIS FEET.  Well as you can see from the pictures we actually got him on camera dirty after a long bike ride up to Gemini Bridges.

THOSE AROUND US!!

By Taylor Family

Moab is always a special place and we wanted to post some pictures that for us mean a lot.

We were able to spend time with Scott and Danica.  They took a risk in coming out to a place they have never been and we hope they enjoyed themselves as much as we enjoyed them.

We were also able to spend a day with Chelsea (I am sure we butchered your name).  She is a very special girl who has come into her own.  She is very quiet but has a lot to offer!!

SQUISHY CHEEKS

By Taylor Family

So we get home from Moab we are talking with Pat's dad about the trip.  We let him know how good it was and wonder what Scott's thoughts where on the trip.  Dad let us know that Scott had a good time and especially loved the Canyon incident.  A little confused about what he was talking about we ask and his response was hilarious!!!

He told us that he had heard on the news that a Ranger in the Park was a little concerned at finding a large quantity of Human Feces up one of the Picnic Areas.  At that point we knew that he was talking about all of our children "HANDLING THEIR BUSINESS".  I guess Scott let dad know the incident and basically said the trip couldn't have ended any better even if someone was writing it.  Dad decided that Josh's new nickname was Squishy Cheeks since Josh decided; after he was done "DROPPING THE KIDS OFF;" that he didn't think things all the way through and needed to walk all the way down the hill to the restroom to finish "THE JOB".

So this one goes out to all of our kids who took it upon themselves to make the park their own!!

Moab Easter Trip

By Taylor Family

I can remember the conversation vividly with Julie 5-6 years ago.  She told me the family was going to Moab and wanted to know if i wanted to go.  The only thing I knew of Moab was that it was in Utah, that is it.  Of course trying to impress Julie and our new found love I agreed (boy what you do for love).  Looking back now, I am glad that I was able to go and experience what I would consider MY FAVORITE PLACE TO GO.  The sheer beauty of the surroundings, from the red rock to the Colorado River, from Potato Salad to Gemini Bridges.  So many things to see and places to go.  God had to take some extra time when he created such a place.

This year the trip was not a disappointment.  My Brother Scott and his Girlfriend came and I felt like it was my first trip again trying to show him everything I love about this place.  We were able to Show Dad things he had never seen before even though he has been going to Moab for years (what makes it so special).  The pictures capture the beauty and the fun we had!!

Cookie Monster!!!!

By Taylor Family

So we are sitting in-front of our cabin in Moab and I look over and see that Jackson's Uncle Scott gave him 4 COOKIES.  Well Jackson, knowing when he has a good thing, decides he will eat them all at once.  As you can see he is saying in his head "SUCKAHHH" knowing he got away with one.

2008 Biking Season has Arrived

By Taylor Family

We Took the kids out to Delle for the first biking of the season.  Boy we love to get out and have fun.
Emily might look innocent but when you get her on a bike she rides like her mom, crazy, fast, and down right scary!!
Josh on the first long ride kept up with dad too close and was drenched in mud.  Fun at the time, but a pain to clean up later.
Jackson loves to bike.  As you can see he is giving THUMBS UP!!!

BATH TIME -- Boy did that tub need a lot of bubbles

By Taylor Family

Jackson loves spending time with dad, even when that means squeezing into a tight tub.

The Joy of Family

By Taylor Family

We grow up with the idea that life is living in the moment, going places, and doing things.  Never looking back, worrying only about yourself.

Then one day you walk into a grocery store, see someone you know is meant for you and everything changes.  You now have a family and you get to experience life in a whole new way.

You have 3 great kids who you enjoy watching grow up, experiencing disappointment and success. Seeing things for the first time in absolute wonderment and you quickly start to realize what life is truly about; FAMILY!!

I found my soul mate and no matter how difficult times get, you know your in it together.

Live Life and Enjoy the Now for who knows what tomorrow Brings.
